Overview

The Lotta Home is a 4 bedroom 2 bath boarding home and Scholarship House just steps from the AUC campus. There is a lounge area, study/huddle room, private deck and fenced in back yard. Laundry is on-site and is pay per use. All utilities are included as is twice monthly professional cleaning of the common spaces.

“Jeanne” 174 Sq. Ft with Queen Bed
$1300.00 Per Month

Named in honor of Dr. Jeanne Spurlock, this room has two windows, both with black out curtains and blinds, and with one facing the front of the home. Provided furniture includes a queen bed, a convertible chair and side table, two small dressers, a small nightstand, and a built in desk with ample shelf storage. Additionally, there is space for you to bring your favorite small pieces of furniture if desired.

“Mamie” 177 Sq. Ft. with Queen Bed
$1300.00 Per Month

Named in honor of Dr. Mamie Phipps Clark, this room has one window, facing the side of the home that has a black-out curtain and blinds. Provided furniture includes a queen bed, a convertible chair and side table, two small dressers, a small nightstand, and a built in desk with ample shelf storage. Additionally, there is space for you to bring your favorite small pieces of furniture if desired.

“Mary” 125 Sq. Ft. with Twin Bed
$1100.00 Per Month

Named in honor of Ms. Mary Church Terrell, this room comes with all of the essentials, making great use of the space with a built in bed, small bench, desk and shelves. It has two windows, both with black out curtains and blinds, and with one facing the front of the home. A small dresser and a trundle unit for easy beneath the bed storage is also included.

“Alberta” 129 Sq. Ft. with Twin Bed
$1100.00 Per Month

Named in honor of Dr. Alberta Banner Turner, this room comes with all of the essentials, making great use of the space with a built in bed, small bench, desk and shelves. It has one window, facing the side of the home that has a black-out curtain and blinds. A small dresser and a trundle unit for easy beneath the bed storage is also included.
